Outkast has a new song for us featuring Raekwon the Chef. These Rap legends have banned together to work on Big Boi’s upcoming album called “Sir Luscious Leftfoot”. Andre 3000 wraps the song up with some of the best rhymes I’ve heard since….well, his last album.

Black Cat is the lead track from Ladytron’s forthcoming fourth album Velocifero.

I have always been a fan of Ladytron’s sound.

Dark, chill and simple.

Their new song takes their already awesome style and adds a more mature and sophisticated sense. The distorted and less than perfect vocals on this track are very different than what I am used to hearing from Ladytron. Also I feel like there is a lot more soul in this song than what I am used to hearing from them.

Paul (Pauly Crush) showed me this video yesterday, and I was inspired haha. Inspired by the boys wrestling in the a pool of MILK!! I couldnt peel my eyes away. I don’t quite understand the splashing of milk, and the skin slapping, but whatever, its hot. The song is amazing as well. The Presets sound has changed immensly. Their sound has developed into a crisp more proffesional style. When I hear them it makes me think of what David Bowie would do in 2008. I see a major future for them!

Alright, that is so cute it might just be gross. I hope everyone’s easter is going splendid. Mine = eating vegan sloppy Joe’s and cat napping with my Hank (my fluffy persian cat). Here are a few new remixes I came across this week. Consider this an easter gift from Glitter and Gold. I just realized, this is the first year in the history of me that I did not recieve an easter egg basket. WTF? I was hoping for a Hanna Montana, or Aaron Carter easter basket from Super Target, but no one pulled through. If anyone got any super awesome easter baskets, message me and let me know what you got, so that I can live through your experiences. Living away from home for college sucks for minor holidays such as easter. I got way hooked up at home with my mom and dad, but now no love?!
Okay now to the good stuff. I especially enjoyed the Butterfly remix. This was a guilty pleasure of mine in highschool. I would never admit to liking the song then, but now I think its safe to say I liked it. This remix really brings out the best parts of the song, and places them into a good electro/disco song. I am also loving metronomy. He is such an awesome remixer. He takes the song and totally rewrites it, and makes it his own. This GoldFrapp remix is really good.

Get your flannels out kiddies, cuz this Nirvanva remix is badass!!!!….and I’m sure its ten times better when your freakin wasted. Divide & Kreate just gave me a blast from the past with his “Smells Like Teen Spirit” remix. Yep. It’s a full-throttle electro version with some serious chorus added to Kurt’s vocals. He still managed to keep the grunge in while making you want to dance. “SLTS” is not Divide & Kreate’s only flashback remix. He has a knack for taking mid-ninties grunge songs and molding them into wiley electro thrash dance mixes. However, my personal favorite remix is “Jolene” by Dolly Parton. You think I’m lying right? Nope. Dolly’s acapella aint nothin to fuck with! Check out his myspace if you feel like getting teary eyed to this song. hahahahahha.

Some believe its a hoax, but it sounds like signature Girl Talk to me. This new song “Freak Out” goes from Gwen Stefani to the Beatles to a series of ‘07 rap hits that will twist your fragile little minds into a frenzy. Anyway, the full album has been deleted from most torrent sites because of Greg Gills’ message to myspace:
