Anyway, the Villains are a duo (MAD V and KONCEPT) from L.A. and are plotting the US Electro takeover. I fully support them and their mission. Their Hot Chip remix was so big it made its way into SPIN Magazine and the were noticed by VICE Records as well. They are touring the US saying to everyone:”You hate to love the bad guys”….so true

In preparation for the official launch of GnG, the GnG girls have lined up a few extra special things for our “already in the know” readers.

1) Saturday / Thursday has given us a private guestlist for the next 3 weeks. The first 10 people to drop an email with their name (and yes, email address) to contests@glitterandgold.net will be on “the late list”. Basically, its the list that is open all night.  Check your email to confirm that you are one of the first 10 (you will get a reply) and be sure to include your full name and email address or it will not be counted. This Thursday ST (SaturdayThursdsay) presents Nick Catchdubs (Brooklyn New York) at club firestone (Orange Avenue Downtown Orlando)! Nick Catchdubs has been dropping his signature club sets (hip hop, electro, dancehall, rock and more, with an emphasis on new music and original remixes) all across the country for the past four years. Mixing these different genres of music will surely make Florida’s number one dance party loose control. Nick has shared stages with the likes of Ghostface, MIA, Spankrock, and the Pack, and has played with the likes Diplo & Low Budget of Hollertronix, Flosstradamus, and Kanye West’s DJ A-Trak. Nick recently founded Fool’s Gold records with A-Trak, and produced the best sounds in new music from Kid Sister, Kavinsky, Jokers of the Scene, and more.
